Tatianna Knights is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She commenced her studies at Towson University in Towson, Maryland, and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences. During her tenure at Towson University, she was selected to be part of a pilot Scribe program at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), which enabled students who had an interest in medicine to accompany the doctors during their rounds. Upon the completion and success of the pilot Scribe program, she was intrigued by the Nursing profession. She championed further and earned her Nursing degree at the accelerated program at Howard University in Washington DC.

Her desire to learn more about nursing embarked her career as an OB-GYN nurse, and after completing fifteen years, her passion for providing care was a pivotal pathway for her to earn her Master’s degree from Chamberlain University. Tatianna’s passion for providing education, healthcare and wellness in overlooked and undervalued communities is the task set before her. She is so grateful and honored to share her knowledge with other colleagues and the many communities that she provides service to.

Tatianna’s professional endeavors, coupled with her passion and continued desire to further educate women by encouraging active participation in optimizing their own health and overall wellness, allows her to effectively listen and provide patient-centered care to all her patients. She currently holds the title of Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner at Independent Medical Group (IMG). While providing care to patients and their families at our Plantation office, she is also responsible for organizing training seminars for all of IMG’s nurse practitioners. She also assists in creating and writing policies and procedures for IMG’s medical personnel. Tatianna feels that she is still called to further her education and is currently earning her Doctorate Degree in Nursing with estimated completion in 2022.

Tatianna’s quality time is spent with her husband and four boys, traveling, and going to the beach whenever she can.
